Built in a former townhouse garden between the beautiful Tankerness House Gardens and Kirkwall Town Hall, Broad Street Gardens provides the perfect base for exploring Orkney's main town of Kirkwall and beyond.

Located between Broad Street and Junction Road this tastefully designed modern building blends in well with the very oldest parts of Kirkwall. It is a stone's throw away from the central attractions of St. Magnus Cathedral, the Earl's and Bishop's Palaces and the Orkney Museum.

Accommodation

All Broad Street Gardens Apartments are brand new, fully equipped and beautifully furnished to a very high standard. All with state of the art kitchens complete with washer/dryers, dishwashers, fridge freezers and microwaves. Each apartment has its own air source heat pump with underfloor heating throughout and individual temperature controls in each room.
Private parking on site.

All apartments operate a strict no smoking and no pets policy.

We have different apartments to suit the different needs of people looking for self catering accommodation in Kirkwall.

Apartments 1 - 6:

Sleeping 5 people. Apartments have two double bedrooms plus inner-sprung bed-settee in the living area.

Penthouse Apartments 7 & 8:

Sleeping 5 people. Penthouses have two double bedrooms plus an inner-sprung bed settee on the mezzanine gallery.

Townhouse:

Sleeps 6 in two double bedrooms plus one twin room with bunks. Brand new house built on three stories.

Location

Less than five minutes walk from Kirkwall bus station, tourist and travel information centre, shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets and all the main street amenities. Kirkwall Pier is the ferry terminal for the North Isles and is also less than 5 minutes walk away. Here you will also find Kirkwall marina with yachts for hire, other boat charters and day excursions.
Amenities within easy walking distance include fitness centre, cinema, swimming pool, theatre, sandy beaches, horse riding and 18 hole golf course.

Very central and suitable for touring all of Orkney and especially good for a town residence catering for a relaxing stay whilst enjoying one of our many cultural events and touring our world class archaeological and heritage sites.
